On November 7th, LGW held its first Author Showcase sponsored and hosted by Pepco Edison Place Gallery, spotlighting eleven LGW authors. Within our network, members have written books on a variety of topics including leadership, journalism, and social sciences. Each LGW author briefly shared with attendees a quick synopsis of their book and its inspiration, ranging in stories of dressing as Santa Claus to life in the Washington region. Following the presentations, guests were invited to enjoy a reception where each author displayed copies of their book, participated in signings, and sold their publications.
We are proud of our LGW authors and are grateful to them for sharing such wonderful stories with us!
