Mission:
Youth Leadership Greater Washington provides a 6-month, hands-on youth leadership development and community education program for high school sophomores and juniors in the Greater Washington region.

About Youth Leadership Greater Washington:
Youth Leadership Greater Washington's Class of 2009 had an amazing program year. The sixty-two class members engaged high-level public officials, learned about many of the challenges and opportunities of the Greater Washington region and formed friendships with a diverse network of other high school juniors and sophomores.

The deadline for applications for Youth Leadership Greater Washington's Class of 2010 is Friday, November 20, 2009. The program year will begin on Friday, January 22, 2010 and conclude on Friday, June 18, 2010.
