Anti-Racist Leadership Series: Study Primer on Anti-Black Systemic Racism

More than 250 leaders have convened for the Leadership Greater Washington Anti-Racist Leadership Series: Building Belonging, Ally-ship, and Organizational Culture. The second session, titled, “The Past is Never Dead, In Fact, It’s Not Even Past,” helped participants consider how history shapes racial identities, and how our identities shape who we are in the world. 

Our study primer video details some of the historical contexts we covered and is a multimedia teaching tool to help us understand the racial system we live in and be better anti-racists. Watch this short video for an examination of the history of anti-Black racism:
