The SHRM Civility at Work Thought Leadership Series is a six-part program designed to immerse leaders in the critical topic of workplace civility, with a specific focus on areas like politics at work, mental health, and civility in leadership. Through exposure to expert insights, SHRM's research-based findings, and group discussions, this series will explore the challenges and opportunities of maintaining respect, professionalism, and inclusion in today’s evolving workplace environments.

LGW and SHRM will be hosting the first three sessions in the six-part series this Spring. Active LGW and SHRM Executive Network Members can register for individual or all three sessions at no cost using the link below; Inactive Members and Non-Members can register for individual sessions for $25 each, or $50 for all three sessions.


Mental Health and Civility at Work

This session will delve into the importance of civility in the workplace as it relates to mental health. It will cover strategies for creating a workplace culture that supports mental health, prioritizes psychological safety, and nurtures inclusivity through respectful communication. We’ll discuss how fostering an atmosphere of civility can help break down the stigma surrounding mental health and encourage open, supportive dialogue.
