The LGW community is abuzz about birdSEED
Lisa Wise ('20) and her team at Flock just launched the birdSEED fund, a housing justice initiative that is designed to accelerate homeownership by offering grants that range from $5,000 - $15,000 for first-time buyers in the region.
The birdSEED fund is also a stellar example of LGW's powerful ability to convene. Class of 2021 members Koube Ngaaje ('20), Paola Moya ('20), Lupi Quinteros-Grady ('20), and Rahsaan Bernard ('20) are serving as community advisors on the project.
This innovative funding source is designed to offer direct assistance in the form of fully forgiven, no strings down payment funds.
