Highly-regarded as one of the most creative branding executives on the East Coast, David drives Sage's creative strategy and development. As a marketing, branding and interactive strategist with more than 24 years' experience, he has worked on a broad range of branding, marketing and interactive projects for many national and international clients. He has extensive experience developing traditional as well as offline and online strategy including brand architecture, social networking, digital influence, content architecture and user experience design, and in directing and managing teams of professional creative developers.
Before founding Sage Communications, David was vice president and worldwide head of Ogilvy Public Relations Interactive Creative Services. In this capacity, he was responsible for developing, executing, managing and implementing strategic and tactical interactive communications plans for the agency, as well as its national and global clients.
David's experience includes brand development, execution and launch of advertising, public relations and public education campaigns for a diverse client base that included Coca-Cola, MasterCard, Intelsat, Corvis Communications, Spacecom, AT&T Government Solutions, Juniper Networks, GlaxoSmithKline, Midas, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, National Institutes of Health, U.S. Customs Service, Central Intelligence Agency, Epilepsy Foundation and Children's Hospital Center, among many dozen similar organizations.
Before working at Ogilvy, David worked with Stackig Advertising and Public Relations (now TMP Worldwide), where, as Interactive Creative Director, he built an interactive division from the ground up for the Washington, D.C., office by creating a full line of web-based interactive products and services, increasing the agency's service offerings and revenues, and positioning the company as a leading interactive creative agency. He also led the economic analysis, concept and planning teams for the agency's interactive product and service launches.
David is also a senior interactive and online marketing, corporate training and development consultant for Frost & Sullivan, a consulting firm with more than 1,700 industry consultants, market research analysts, technology analysts and economists around the globe.
David's creative efforts have earned numerous interactive, advertising and print communications awards including three Addys and two EMA honors. He holds a master of fine arts degree in media studies from the Parsons School of Design at the New School University in New York, and a bachelor of arts in communications design from the Wizo College of Design in Haifa, Israel.
