Rebecca Hertz is the Events and Programs Manager at Leadership Greater Washington. She is responsible for managing the Signature, Rising Leaders, and Youth Leadership programs, as well as member events and programming. Previously, she was the Manager at ULI Washington. Her role at ULI Washington was coordination of several engagement programs as well as membership, sponsorship, communications, and community outreach. Rebecca provided primary staff support to the Women’s Leadership Initiative, the Regional Land Use Leadership Institute, the Sustainability and Housing Initiative Councils, and the Trends Awards Program. Rebecca worked for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Washington, DC and for Friends of White Flint where she educated the community about the exciting changes coming to Montgomery County’s White Flint area from traditional suburb to vibrant mixed-use. Rebecca grew up just outside of Washington, DC in Rockville. She attended Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts where she earned her B.A. in International Development and Social Change, as well as her M.A. in Community Development and Planning. Rebecca enjoys exploring DC, playing field hockey and boxing, and pet sitting for some of the best loving and furry animals. Rebecca currently serves on the Future Leaders Committee for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Mid-Atlantic Chapter and is the Junior Auction Chair for the Leukemia Ball.
