Leadership Greater Washington is excited to launch a new partnership that gives LGW members an additional way to utilize their leadership skills and experience for the greater DC region, through nonprofit board service.
LGW is partnering with BoardStrong, a nonprofit organization focused on strengthening nonprofit board governance, to offer LGW members access to BoardStrong Connections, a national, online, searchable database that matches individuals with nonprofit organizations.
Through BoardStrong Connections, LGW members can find a nonprofit organization whose missions match their passions and reach out to those nonprofits about getting involved. Members can search by geography, mission and other requirements.
LGW members who lead nonprofits can also seek board members for their organizations: use discount code “BoardStrongConnections” to list a board position posting in the database for free.
Thanks to LGW’s partnership with BoardStrong, all other participation in the database is free as well.
