Bringing together more than 700 of the region’s most accomplished leaders, the Celebration of Leadership serves as the largest celebration of diverse, cross-sector changemakers in our region.

This year we're convening at the Grand Hyatt Washington to celebrate The Honorable Muriel Bowser ('13) as our 2026 Leader of the Years. For more than a decade, Mayor Bowser’s tenure has been defined by steady leadership and bold disruption, and this honor reflects the collective voice of cross-sector leaders from business, government, nonprofit, and civic institutions across the Greater Washington region who have witnessed the breadth of Mayor Bowser’s impact across the entire metropolitan region through three historic terms.
