Nancie Lynch (Suzuki) is the CEO of the Richard E. and Nancy P. Marriott Foundation, the Nancy Peery Marriott Foundation, and the Marriott Daughters Foundation—two of which focus on the Washington, DC region.
Over the past 20 years, she has transformed these organizations from traditional grantmaking entities into impactful foundations that strengthen communities through intentional partnerships. With a focus on education and youth, Nancie champions the belief that every child deserves equal opportunities, regardless of background. Her vision is rooted in personal experience: the daughter of Japanese immigrants, she attended public school in a small town, became the first in her family to earn a college degree, and saw firsthand the power of education to open doors.
A graduate of Salisbury University’s Perdue School of Business, Nancie went on to earn her MBA from the University of Maryland University College. She currently serves on the boards of Easterseals DC/MD/VA and Girl Scouts Nation’s Capital.
Outside of her professional work, Nancie enjoys time with her daughter, Jordyn, and son, Dax. She has a love of travel, good food, wine, and scuba diving, and is a PADI-certified Divemaster.
