Jake leads Accenture Song’s Resources Client Group and the Chemicals & Natural Resources Industry Group.  A senior strategic business, client and P&L leader, Jake collaborates across Accenture to develop customer-centric, AI and platform enabled, growth-focused solutions. 

He believes in the power of creativity and human experiences to make meaningful and impactful change that matters to businesses, organizations, governments and those they serve.  His expertise is in growing businesses, delivering enterprise and strategic transformations, leading inclusive and diverse teams, and driving digital and business disruptions. Jake has a passion for creativity, social impact, and meaningful change.

Previously, Jake’s career has spanned both the US federal industry as well as commercial sectors. He led Accenture Song's work in their South Market Unit across 13 states, Puerto Rico and the District of Columbia where he was directly accountable for the P&L of this business unit.  He also led all aspects of Accenture Federal Services' work with the US Departments of Commerce and Energy, NASA, and the EPA leading a team of almost 1000 professionals serving their federal clients and their missions.  He served as the Civilian Portfolio Sales Lead with responsibility for all business development and growth across Accenture’s work with civilian agencies and nonprofit organizations driving over 300% growth and ~$1B in sales.

A believer in cities and metropolitan centers, he is the Treasurer and a member of the Leadership Greater Washington Board of Directors and a graduate of the Class of 2019 ”Raising the Bar” focused on bringing together leaders from across the metropolitan Washington, DC area to have a positive impact on the communities where they work and live.  Jake serves on  the Smithsonian Institution’s Advisory Board for the National Museum of African Art. He also serves on the Board of Covenant House of Washington DC. Jake is a past President and former board member of AFCEA Bethesda, a Washington, DC based organization focused on increasing collaboration, dialogue, and innovation between the federal civilian government and the federal IT services community. Jake also served as an Advisory Board and Founding Board Member of the Conscious Capitalism – Washington, DC Chapter focused on making positive community impact through business.

Based in Alexandria, Virginia, ten miles south of our nation's capital, Jake and his wife Hannah are empty nesters with their dog Jerry, where he spends time grilling, digging holes and planting trees, rooting for his Pittsburgh Steelers, Penguins, Pirates and Panthers, suffering from the motivations of Peloton instructors Alex, Tunde, and Ally and continuously trying to improve his golf game.
