Caitlin Guzman Hartman is a Managing Director & Partner at Boston Consulting Group. She is a leader in BCG's Financial Institutions & Public Sector industry practice areas and in the Technology & Digital Advantage and Corporate Finance functional areas. Caitlin leads end-to-end transformations in the public and private sector that ensure structures, technology, processes, people, and culture all work to support an organization’s mission and strategy. In addition to her work with clients, she has co-authored publications on the topics of financial inclusion, community investment, and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) issues. She is passionate about supporting diverse leaders and serves as a regional leader for BCG’s employee resource group on diversity.
Prior to joining BCG, Caitlin worked in the consumer sector in emerging markets, based in East Africa and later in Central America. (Talk to her about the role the coffee industry plays in accelerating the economies in these regions… or just about coffee!) She served as a political appointee during the Obama Administration, focusing on economic development. She earned her master’s and bachelor's from Harvard University.
Outside of work, Caitlin is an avid runner, an enthusiastic home chef, and an aspiring gardener. She and her partner have lived in DC for 15+ years. He is the founder of a DC-based small business, the award-winning rum distillery Cotton & Reed. Please join us for drinks!
