Artificial Intelligence already impacts the lives and work of Leadership Greater Washington members, through our organizations, families, educational institutions and communities. For LGW, the implications go beyond simply understanding this rapidly evolving technology. AI will fundamentally change how our region's leaders approach the issues we care about - from how healthcare is delivered and housing is developed, to how governments operate and how talent connects to the workforce.
The 2026 LGW Summit brings members together with a deliberate regional and cross-sector focus on AI. By examining its influence across the region’s key industries and concerns in one day, LGW is creating a rare opportunity for leaders to anticipate change together and consider how these technologies can strengthen the region rather than deepen existing divides.
The day will open with a keynote speaker who helps us see the future that is already emerging and connect it to the issues that matter most to LGW members. Through expert panels in elective breakout sessions, participants will explore both the promise and the risks of AI across key sectors, grounding the conversation in the realities of the region's economy, workforce, housing and social impact.

The all-day, member-exclusive summit will be capped off with LGW’s annual meeting in the afternoon, followed by the Summer Kick-Off Happy Hour.
